Joolz By Lisa A variety of artists created one of a kind, handcrafted, glass beads inspired by watermelon, and then Joolz by Lisa designed and crafted the jewelry pieces now displayed on their website. Lisa donates the proceeds to our Patient Assistance Program and in 2007, $900 went to The Melonhead Foundation families. Congrats to Lisa on her 1st Prize BeadStar Award in 2008! Christmas Wish Trees! Through December 24th, 2009 Peoria and Ahwatukee Hooters Our annual Holiday Wish Trees will be up on display in Peoria and Ahwautkee Hooters through Christmas Eve! Take a tag off one of the trees and find a wish for the holidays from one of our Melonhead families that you can help make true. A big, special thank you to Scottie Upshall of the Coyotes hockey team for sponsoring a wish tree with the Coyotes Wives. Together, with Sarah Finecey, Executive Director of Coyotes Charities, they helped raise over $8,400 for our Melonhead families to help with rent, utilities, car payments, insurance, and Christmas meals. Thank you so much for your tremendous help!
