Our first shoe drive is complete and shoes will be going off to our friends in California on May 29, 2013. Check back soon to see how much money we raised.

The Melonhead Foundation will continue to collect shoes and do another Big Drive in September.

The shoes will be recycled, repurposed and given to third world countries. The Melonhead Foundation will receive cash for the shoes...finally an event in which EVERYONE can participate.

Bring a roll of quarters or two for the ever-popular Melonhead Quarter Auction OR SAVE $10 and pre-pay for your paddle when you buy your tickets.

How does a Quarter Auction work? Items are up for bid between tastings. Items such as gift baskets, massage, gift certificates, etc. Based on their value items will be raffled off for a bid of 2 - 8 quarters. The auctioner announces the item and its bid price, you place your quarters in your table's basket and hold up your bid paddle. When your number matches the number selected as the winner you win that gift. If you bid for every item the value of quarters will be $40 and that will be your donation to Melonhead that day. NOTE: If you pre-pay for paddle you are "in" for every item and will not need to bring quarters. I
